Organizational Profile

Madrasah Darul-Erkam is an independent private educational institution that, since 2013, has been dedicated to the moral, intellectual, and spiritual advancement of the Muslim community in the Netherlands. Our aim is to cultivate a gifted, conscious, and well-balanced Muslim youth—one that knows its identity, values knowledge, and takes its place in society with a strong sense of responsibility.

Our institution provides selfless, high-quality, and independent education, entirely free from affiliation with specific religious communities, organizations, or Sufi orders. This autonomy enables us to deliver education that is pure and transparent, based on the universal sources of Islam: the Qur’an, the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, and the elucidations of prominent classical scholars who have transmitted and explained these sources with depth and integrity.

Madrasah Darul-Erkam offers private education in the fields of Islamic studies, Islamic history, and Arabic language and literature. Both women and men are welcome to attend our courses, which are taught by knowledgeable and dedicated instructors with strong subject expertise and sincere pedagogical commitment.

Since our founding, we have not only offered numerous courses, lectures, and seminars, but have also developed a comprehensive educational system of our own—complete with carefully designed curricula and learning materials tailored to different ages and stages of learning. This system fosters intellectual depth, reflection, and personal growth.

We place great importance on accessibility and social engagement. For this reason, Dutch is the primary language of instruction, allowing us to reach and engage as many people as possible within Dutch society. Our programs are also designed to be fully compatible with the formal education system, serving as a valuable complement to the formation of our students.

Madrasah Darul-Erkam stands for a clear, principled, and unifying approach to Islamic education—rooted in authenticity, focused on development, and guided by responsibility.
